Job Summary
The ICT Intern will support the organization’s ICT department in the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, and related technologies. This role provides hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, and basic networking while developing practical technical skills.Job Requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical support for staff on computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other ICT equipment.
- Support network operations, including internet connectivity and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist in maintaining ICT inventory, logs, and documentation.
- Help with software installations, updates, and antivirus management.
- Support data backup procedures and basic system security practices.
- Assist in resolving minor ICT issues and escalate complex problems to the ICT Officer.
- Participate in ICT-related projects as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure proper handling and care of ICT equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
- OND/HND/BSc student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and internet applications.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain confidentiality.
Remuneration
- Stipend: 70,000 - 100,000
